Vestry Members and Friends of Light Shine:

We received a letter today notifying Shepherd of the Hills that we have received a two year $8000 grant from the Florida Humanities Council with funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities. This assures the continuation of  our Light Shine outreach program for the next two years. We have budgeted $4000 each for the period September, 2010 to May, 2011, and for the period September, 2011 to May, 2012. With our new church available after February, 2011, Light Shine will be great opportunity to introduce Shepherd of the Hills to the Citrus County community.

We have the following programs committed for the first twelve month Light Shine program and plan to add some music appreciation events to this list.
